Teacher’s Perceptions Toward Supervisory Visits

Abstract
This research was undertaken by the researcher to determine perceptions of teachers toward supervisory visit. The investigation utilized the descriptive type of research. Questionnaires were used in gathering the data. Furthermore unstructured interviews were also utilized. The respondents of this study were one hundred thirty- five (135) teachers of Nasugbu North District, Division of Batangas, S.Y. 2018-2019. The Statistical measures in the data analysis were the frequency, weighted mean and z-test. The results of the study were the respondents in this study are predominantly young having ages ranging from 20-40 years old, female and married. Most of them have been in the teaching profession between 20-40 years. Teachers are agree on supervisory visits. They are aware of the values and learning that could be. There is no significant difference between the male and female respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status and length of service on the perceptions toward supervisory visits. As perceived by the teachers supervisory visits showed strengths and weaknesses which affect the teachers’ performance during the supervisory visits. A Supervisory Program is developed to enhance the supervisory visits in the Nasugbu West District.
