UTILIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY MEDIA AS CORRELATES IN THE TEACHING PERFORMANCE OF
TEACHERS OF NASUGBU WEST CENTRAL SCHOOL, NASUGBU, BATANGAS

Abstract

Educational Technology Media is now the trends in teaching in the basic education since it is the great way to achieve best education among learners. This study was conducted to identify and to analyze the utilization of educational technology media as correlates in the teaching performance of the teachers in Nasugbu West Central School, Nasugbu, Batangas. The respondents of the study were the fifty ( 50 ) teachers. Teacher respondents were randomly selected from the population of the said school. Questionnaire was the main instrument in this study. Statistics such as mean, percentage, weighted mean and ranking, Pearson r, and t-test were utilized. The following were derived based on the findings of the study. ( a) Most teachers in Nasugbu West Central School were of their middle age, female, married, not master degree holder yet and still young in service. (b) The teachers perceived the level of utility of educational technology media as very satisfactory as to computer language, social networking sites, media equipment and photograph equipment. (c) The level of performance among the teachers was very satisfactory in terms of commitment, knowledge of subject matter, teaching for independent learning and management of student learning. (d) There was no significant relation in the responses of the respondents regarding utilization of educational technology when grouped according to their profile variables. (e) There was a significant relationship between the usefulness of educational technology media and the utilization of educational technology media. (f) The proposed action plan to enhance the utilization educational technology media for the improvement of teaching performance was designed by the researcher.
