ABSTRACT

This study assessed the effectiveness of school safety and security protocols and their impact on student well-being in Balayan Senior High School. Findings revealed that the school consistently enforces safety measures such as ID checking and visitor monitoring, contributing to students’ sense of security. Adequate facilities and positive perceptions of emergency preparedness were also noted. However, areas such as conflict prevention, counseling services, and consistent safety reinforcement require improvement to better support student well-being. The results suggest that maintaining effective safety measures not only protects students physically but also enhances their comfort and readiness to learn. To strengthen these outcomes, the researchers recommend the implementation of peer mediation programs, leadership workshops, and anti-bullying campaigns to promote positive student relationships. Regular evaluation of safety protocols, increased visibility of security personnel, and continued open communication between students and school authorities are also advised. These strategies aim to build a safer and more supportive learning environment that encourages emotional stability and academic focus among students.
