PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN PARENT/TEACHER ACTIVITIES AT ACEBA SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE INC. LOPEZ, QUEZON S.Y. 2019-2020

This study aimed to identify the problems encountered in parent and teacher activities in ACEBA SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE INC. (ASTI) Lopez, Quezon Branch. In particular, the researcher determined to find out the different activities of parents and teachers in ASTI in terms of general policy guidelines, implementation, recognition and monitoring PTA’s activities, Policy on collection contribution, financial statement, transparency and the implication derived from the study. The study showed that the most problems encountered in parent and teacher activities was common in terms of transparency with the weighted mean of 2.53 indicating can hardly share information for the consideration and welfare of the children. The teacher and parent in the said school find difficulty in sharing information to everyone. In addition, another problem of parent and teacher in terms of financial statement stated that discuss financial statement clearly to one another. Based on the finding and conclusions drawn, following recommendation derived the teacher and parent work together when authorized to collect contributions. Consult one another in projects that involve money.
