ABSTRACT

The present study, "Perceived Satisfaction Level of ABM 12 Students with the School Canteen Services of Balayan Senior High," intended to find out how the school canteen services provided to the Grade 12 ABM students during the academic year 2025 were satisfactory. The research problem focused on looking into those aspects of the canteen which include the quality of food, pricing, cleanliness, service, and staff interaction that meet or fail to meet the students' expectations. The research also attempted to show which areas had to be improved for an overall pleasing canteen experience. The study employed a quantitative descriptive research design that measured students' satisfaction in an objective manner without any variable manipulation. The survey was responded to by 122 grade 12 ABM students who completed a validated online questionnaire that addressed various aspects of the canteen services. The study used descriptive statistics, employing weighted mean to determine the satisfaction levels of the respondents. It was found that students are generally satisfied with the cleanliness of the canteen and the service of the school canteen staff, as well as the quality of the food available in the school canteen. On the other hand, prices and food variety are some aspects that still need to be addressed. To sum up, the results signal that a school canteen which is well-functioning in majority of the students’ needs still requires further steps to be taken in terms of affordability, food choice, and service speed in order to meet the needs at a higher level and provide students with a better dining experience.
