ABSTRACT
The researchers determined the degree to which TVL-Industrial Arts students are aware of and compliant with safety measures during their practical activities. The results indicated that students, in general, observe all the safety rules and procedures and, thus, show the traits of discipline, responsibility, and awareness while in the workshop. One can credit their regular wearing of safety gear and strict following of the safety protocols to the safety education and management system of the school that works efficiently. Nevertheless, the study has also uncovered some stage points, such as the need for more defined instructions, unceasing supervision, and constant safety reminders by teachers to avert the risk of being too comfortable with the safety practices. Moreover, the good safety culture that was found in the Industrial Arts facilities is largely due to teacher supervision that is done effectively, well-managed workshops, and the behavior of the students who support each other. The researchers, therefore, recommend the implementation of the safety orientation on a regular basis, supervision by the teachers and the instructions being made clear and last but not least further studies on the practice of safety in different academic strands for students t o not only develop a strong culture of safety but also kept maintained.
