ABSTRACT
This study explores the utilization of digital media in language learning instruction among third-year college students and how it can serve as a basis for developing effective learning activities. In today's digital age, students are exposed to various multimedia tools that can enhance their academic performance, especially in language acquisition.
The study employed a quantitative-descriptive research design using a survey questionnaire as the main instrument for data collection. The respondents consisted of selected third-year college students from DFLCMCFI – Nasugbu Campus. The research aimed to determine the extent to which digital media—such as videos, online articles, educational apps, and social media platforms—are integrated into their language learning process, and how these tools affect their engagement, comprehension, and communication skills.
Findings revealed that the majority of students frequently use digital media as a supplementary resource in learning languages. It enhances vocabulary development, improves pronunciation, and increases motivation to participate in classroom discussions. However, the study also highlighted the need for proper guidance and structured activities to ensure meaningful learning experiences.
Based on the results, the researcher recommends the integration of digital media into formal language instruction through well-planned learning activities. This will not only cater to the digital interests of students but also promote interactive and student-centered language learning.
