ABSTRACT

This study aimed to determine the effects of the principal’s management practices in expediting stakeholders’ support and involvement in the sustainability of Bolbok National High School. Specifically, it sought the level of support and involvement of stakeholders in the sustainability of Bolbok National High School. Likewise, it determined how the stakeholders find the principal’s management practices as well as the effects of Project MHAR (Meticulously Harmonizing Activities Religiously) in the development of the school. Finally, it sought the challenges encountered by the school in the implementation of the programs, projects and activities (PPAs). The descriptive method of research was used with the questionnaire as the main data gathering tool. Sixteen teachers and ten parents were the respondents of this study. Results showed that there is a high level of support and involvement in the sustainability of Bolbok National High School by teachers and parents and the school community as a whole. It was apparent that the teachers and parents find that there was a great promise of a developed school in the days to come based on the performance of the school leader. Lastly, Project MHAR was found to have contained all the indicators that harmonize everyone’s actions and propelled them to seek further development for the sake of the school and the students. From these findings and conclusions, the researcher recommended that the proposed Project MHAR be implemented as flagship of Bolbok National High School. Based on the observations of both teachers and parents, the school PPAs may be implemented well because of the principal’s management practices. Finally, considered as best practices, the principal’s decision-making methods, as well as the involvement and support of all school community stakeholders may be done religiously and harmoniously to satisfy the requirements for a well-developed school.
