ONE VOICE, A THOUSAND HOPES

by: SYLVIA DACIAN-SERRADO

Justice begins when hearts choose what is right,

Not only in the laws that we defend,

But in the simple acts that bring the light.

A helping hand, a stranger called a friend.

For peace is born where fairness finds its place,

And hope grows brighter in a shared embrace.

Our language carries stories through the years,

Of hands that built despite the storms they faced.

It dries the weary eyes that brim with tears,

And plants new dreams where fear once left its trace.

Each word of kindness, every honest plea,

Becomes a seed of hope for unity.

So let our voices rise beyond the fear,

With faith that every word can heal and guide.

Let hope resound for every soul to hear,

With truth and unity as lasting pride.

For when the people's voice and hope unite,

A nation's future shines with fearless light.

The voice of the people is more than a sound;

It is the heartbeat of a nation strong.

It speaks for justice where the weak are bound,

And turns their silent suffering into song.

No chain can hold a spirit brave and free

When truth is spoken with integrity.

Though many tongues may echo through our land,

One purpose binds the strength of every voice:

To stand as one, united hand in hand,

And make compassion our enduring choice.

Together we can shape a brighter day,

Where love and justice always lead the way.

When every voice is heard with equal grace,

No dream is silenced, no heart left behind.

Our words become the light we all embrace,

A bridge of hope for every soul to find.

In every language, truth begins to rise,

Awakening courage beneath open skies.
