ROWENA S. DELA CRUZ

· Volume II Issue IV

The changing of schools on learning methods by adapting to the new strategies and creating effective intervention in the new normal system of education is a big challenge for everyone. This means teachers must use technology to share their knowledge with their learners.

The ability of learners to read or understand the text is widely assumed to be dependent on the material’s content and excitement factor. The materials should be capable of growing the learner's curiosity to assist them with independent reading. Multimedia learning approach is used to expose learners to the use of audio, images, such as animation, video, and technology during their performance task at home in science.

Teachers assist the learners of Dr Felipe De Jesus National High School by providing them with multimedia learning tools that can be watched to guide and do their performance task at home. Teachers are creating videos, presentations for the learners during online class and sending the multimedia learning tools in group chat for the learners to be able to watch on their flexible time.

Sending recorded videos of teachers helps a lot in the learners to guide them in answering their modules as well as performing their performance task. This also encourages the teachers to get out of the box on adapting the technology to provide better lesson content for the students. It promotes participation and supplementary learning materials collaboration or contextualized instructional materials.
