ABSTRACT

This study explored the development of the entrepreneurial mindset among Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students of Balayan Senior High School. The research aimed to identify the internal and external factors that influence students' ability to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking, which is essential in today's competitive and innovation-driven economy. Findings revealed that while many students demonstrate potential and interest in entrepreneurship, their growth is often hindered by challenges such as limited practical exposure, low self-confidence, and a disconnect between theoretical knowledge and real-world business applications. The conclusion highlights that the entrepreneurial mindset is not solely shaped by academic curriculum but is also deeply influenced by personal motivation, family background, peer interactions, and experiential learning opportunities. To address these challenges, the study recommends the integration of practice-centered learning modules, mentorship programs with experienced entrepreneurs, and enhanced extracurricular activities that promote innovation and creativity. It also suggests strengthening entrepreneurship education through real-world simulations, community-based business projects, and partnerships with local enterprises. These strategies aim to bridge the gap between policy and practice, ensuring that students are not only knowledgeable but also equipped with the confidence, adaptability, and problem-solving skills necessary for entrepreneurial success.
