ABSTRACT
Project BASA employs a multi-faceted approach to promote reading, including teacher training, community involvement, and the provision of reading materials. By fostering a love of reading and developing essential reading skills, the program seeks to enhance students' academic achievement and overall well-being of the high school learners at Timbugan National High School, Rosario West Sub-Office.
Findings have shown that Project BASA has had a positive impact on reading literacy in the school. Participants have demonstrated improved reading comprehension, increased interest in reading, and enhanced vocabulary development. Additionally, the program has contributed to fostering a more literate and engaged community.
