ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the learners’ attitude, learners’ strategy and academic achievement. Specifically, it described the learners’ attitude, learners’ strategy and academic achievement of pupils. Significant relationship was also determine between the responses of the respondents. The researcher employed a descriptive method. Data questionnaire was utilized in this research. The descriptive study involved grade 4 pupils from Nasugbu West Central School who were selected using systematic random sampling method. Results revealed that the as a whole, the attitudes of the learners towards Mathematics are rated neutral by the respondents. The respondents were uncertain in the learning strategies in Mathematics utilized by pupils both cognitive and resource management. The academic achievement in Mathematics of pupils was on the average level. Academic achievement depends from learning strategies and attitudes and Learning attitudes influenced by learning strategies. The Learning Strategy Intervention Program in Mathematics (LSIPIM) was designed eyeing to a more effective utilization of learning strategies and to develop positive attitudes of students to enhance the Mathematics performance of students.
