ABSTRACT
This study aimed to assessing the role of budgeting plans enhancing financial management skills of financial students the study utilized the descriptive method. The respondents of the study were 27 Financial Students in DFLCMCFI Nasugbu, Batangas. Frequency counts/ Percentage, Weighted Mean and Standard Deviation, F-Test and T-Test and Person were used in data analysis. The findings revealed that the perception of the respondents on assessing the role of budgeting plans enhancing financial management skills.
(1) Budgeting Practice; (2) Spending Behavior; (3) Financial Decision- Making must be drawn based on findings of the study; (4) Must be a student in DFLCMCFI, Nasugbu, Batangas. The researcher utilized the study to gathering significant data of the profile of the respondent, particularly the age and sex.
The study yielded the following findings: it showed that most of the respondents are between the ages of 18 to 20 and the majority of them are female respondents than female respondents. However, there is significance difference in assessing the role of budgeting plan enhancing financial management skills in terms of Budgeting Practice, Spending Behavior, and Financial Decision Making when age and sex is considered. The budgeting plan crafted based on the results of the study which can use as guide to improved financial spending.
Budgeting Plans aims to help the students to manage their finance properly and to strengthen the financial education.
