· Volume IV Issue I

The Department of Education (DepEd), in its desire to deliver the highest quality education possible despite the current pandemic situation in the country, came up with various schemes that would prepare learning leaders and teachers in the new normal. Due to COVID-19, schools were encouraged to adopt variety of distance learning approaches from modular to online or virtual instructions.

In relation, Alangalang National High School of Alangalang, Leyte implemented the Modular-Print Distance Learning Modality, since 98% of the students preferred modular print as their modality for the reason of no laptops/computers, no smartphones and unstable internet connection at home based from the consolidated data from their Learner Enrolment and Survey Form (LESF) for SY 2020-2021.

From the data gathered, it is evident that teachers must develop an intervention which is fast, effective and easy in monitoring the learners’ performance in claiming their modules during the scheduled distribution and retrieval of learning materials following the IATF protocols for the safety of every learner.

With this, the proponent come up with an innovation proposal project entitled, “Project QR Models”.
