The study used the descriptive method of research in order to gather information to test hypothesis and to answer questions concerning the objectives of the study. This study used questionnaire to attain the objectives of the researchers. The design of this research follows three phases namely the input, process and output. The input includes the perceptions of the respondents on the effective utilization of LED TV inside the classroom and their perceived academic skills on using LED TV. The process phase includes research questionnaire and statistical treatment, such as weighted mean and t- test. Finally, the output phase includes propose activities on proper utilization of LED TV inside the classroom.

Based from the findings of the study, showing pictures using LED TV is the only evident as seen by the pupils. Utilization of LED inside the classroom is weak to support the development of the pupils. Only listening skill was develop in utilization of LED TV. Television has long been associated with sitting down and not technically doing anything - hence suggesting that people who watch television are not productive, and will not be productive if they are spending their time watching on the screen. Children enjoy watching television, and no matter how studious they are; children will still prefer watching television than spending hours reading textbooks and studying.

Sriram and Viswanathan (2008) reported that the expansion and greater utilization of existing Radio, Television and Internet facilities could provide further opportunities towards sustaining education among the students who are educationally and technologically disadvantaged in many parts of India and in many countries all over the world. Desmond (2001) reported that TV watching is inversely related to school progress or achievement. The same trend was also reported by Bala (2004), “Language is the power of media. Nevertheless, the function of TV news language is to capture the interest of the viewers, because words and the ways they are spoken can have much greater effect than pictures on a screen. Page and Crawley (2001) found higher secondary teachers saying that cognitive abilities of their students are seriously affected by TV viewing. According to Shejwal (2005), light viewers were found to be better than heavy viewers in the cognitive skills of analytical thinking, figure evaluation, similarity exploration and verbal facility.

Television is often considered something you do when you want to relax, and if this will not use properly, this will affect the pupil academic performance later.

The researchers conduct this analysis to test the utilization of the LED Television as instructional materials at Coliat Elementary School. The findings of this research will be use for the proposed activities to improve their teaching techniques and strategies in utilization of LED TV.
