ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study is to assess the implementation of the different health and food services in Sabang Elementary School, Sabang, Ibaan, Batangas. Also, it aims to determine the issues and challenges in the delivery of these services. Using the descriptive method of research, the findings revealed that health and food services were implemented to a very great extent. Some of the issues and challenges identified in the study were budget and funding constraints, lack of regular health inspections and monitoring, lack of awareness about the importance of healthy eating, and limited integration of nutrition and health education. The results of the study served as bases in proposing strategies and activities to enhance the delivery of the different health and food services.
