INTEGRATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) IN TEACHING TLE TO GRADE 9
STUDENTS AT PAYAPA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

ABSTRACT

The study aimed to assess the Integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching technology and livelihood education (TLE) to grade 9 students in Payapa National High school. From the said research, the following conclusions were derived: The students perceived integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as strongly agree in terms of transfer of learning, Skill Performance, Project Output and Achievement Level. There is significant relationship between different ICT devices utilized by the teachers in teaching TLE. A learning activity sheets was design by the researcher to enhance the performance of Grade 9 students in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Payapa National High School. Thus from the above-mentioned conclusions, it is recommended that: to be able to improve the performance of the G9 students: School administrators, TLE Department Head and faculty should continue attending workshops, and trainings or seminars that are related on teaching strategies that uses technology in teaching TLE. The teacher should apply creative strategies that encourage learners enhance their digital skills and improve computer self-efficacy that will help them develop their competitiveness. The teachers should use suitable technology devices where students can learn most effectively in the subject matter. The designed learning activity sheets to further enhance the digital skills of the Grade 9 students.
