INSTRUCTIONAL SUPERVISION OF PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HEAD IN LIAN, BATANGAS: AN EVALUATION

ABSTRACT

Instructional supervision is the groundwork by which areas are reached and let off to uphold characteristic and progress the value of teaching and learning for the teachers and pupils wherein these are of in dire need of every school. This research revealed the following findings: Majority of the respondents belonged to 20-30, female, married, bachelor’s degree holder, and had been in the service for 11 to 20 years. Majority of the respondents strongly agreed on the instructional supervision of the school heads in terms of instructional support, pre-observation meeting, post observation meeting, records and tasks checking and teachers’ appraisal. There was no significant difference in the civil status, highest educational attainment and length of service. However, there was a significant difference in age and sex. The Linear Equation Model (LEM) was crafted by the researcher based on the results of the study.
