ABSTRACT

Among the consumers around the world, Filipinos are one of the most active seekers of convenience and eco–friendly products. FREASE, as a fabric wrinkle remover spray serves this purpose as a natural alternative for synthetic fabric wrinkle sprays and a complementary solution for traditional ironing. It offers an effective and quick way to eliminate wrinkles instantly. Frease is suitable for all types of fabrics, including delicate fabrics but is more resistant to cotton and linen. It is derived from okra extract and aloe vera – making it a suitable choice for eco-conscious consumers. It is a time-saving product and treats the fabric smoothing out wrinkles and conditioning fabric as well.

This study utilized a quantitative research design. The proponents used a simple random sampling technique to gather data using survey questionnaires from a total of 77 respondents. An inferential approach was applied to identify the significant differences in the level of willingness to buy FREASE, categorized according to its demographic factors. This feasibility study focused on five main aspects: marketing aspect, management aspect, operational aspect, financial aspect, and socio-economic aspect.

The findings of this study revealed that the respondents are willing to buy the product if it is eco-friendly, has unique features and incomparable, is cheaper than other existing brands, has clear instructions on packaging, and is also recommended by a family member, a relative, or a friend. In addition, this study states that there is no significant difference in the willingness to buy FREASE based on demographic factors such as age, sex, location, and status. Respondents, regardless of these factors, showed similar interest in the product. This indicates that FREASE has broad appeal to a wide range of consumers.

Based on the findings of this study, FREASE as a fabric wrinkle remover spray is feasible and marketable. Therefore, the proponents recommend utilizing social media, increasing production capacity, and securing relevant certifications like FDA approval.
