DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF MODULE WITH ELECTRONIC RESOURCE MATERIALS IN ENGLISH GRAMMAR

ABSTRACT

This study aims to develop and evaluate module with electronic resource materials in English Grammar. A descriptive developmental method of research was used in this research with the use of a questionnaire as the main data-gathering instrument. The respondents of the study in the quantitative covered a total of one hundred ten (110) tachers in Nasugbu West Central School, who are chosen within School following the set criteria. The data in this study are limited to the responses of the respondents and the retrieved data. Based on the study the following findings are revealed: The steps involved in the development and evaluation of module were composed of five stages. The preliminary stage, development stage consultation Stage, modification stage and evaluation stage while the steps involved in the electronic resource materials were preliminary preparation, development of electronic resource materials, consultation with the experts, modification and improvement of the presentations and evaluation of the developed presentations. The respondents strongly agreed on the developed module while they evaluated the electronic resource materials as good. The evaluation of the respondents on the effectiveness of the module and the electronic resource materials was very effective and the crafted reinforcement program was designed by the researcher based on the results of the study. This research limits in the evaluation of the respondents in the designed, developed and evaluated module with electronic resource materials in English grammar. It appeared that the designed, developed and evaluated module with electronic resource materials in English grammar will help in honing the skills of pupils in English grammar. However, teachers find out that the designed, developed and evaluated module with electronic resource materials in English grammar also help them to improve their teaching performance in the delivery of lessons in English grammar which gleaned from the different responses of the participants. The researchers declare that the intellectual content of this research is the product of their work although they received assistance from others on the manner of organization, presentation, language and style. This research has been done by the researchers to share to all the value of the results of the study on the Design, Development and Evaluation of Module with Electronic Resource Materials in English Grammar and this research mirrors the importance of instructional materials intended for both pupils and teachers to make the teaching and learning process more enjoyable using module with electronic resource materials.
