ABSTRACT

This study determined the challenges encountered by teachers and parents about Online Enrolment in San Pedro National High School for the purpose of developing an action plan. This study covered the preferred learning modality of students and the issues and concerns encountered about online enrolment. The study employed the descriptive research design and used questionnaire as main data gathering tool. Respondents of the study were the selected parents and advisers from Grade 7-10 of San Pedro National High School. Statistical tools used to analyze data gathered were frequency count, ranking and weighted mean. Result showed that most of the student’s preferred modality was modular distance and few of them were online distance learning. There are some challenges encountered by teachers on online enrolment using LESF form such as technical difficulties and incomplete data on LESF form. The proposed monitoring plan served as guide in managing online enrolment. The study recommended that before conducting online enrolment, Parent orientation must be done to avoid misunderstanding. And to secure strong connectivity before enrolling the students’ online.
